Ruth on Donegal Business Network:
“I’ve been a member of Donegal Business Network (DBN) for just over 4 years now and in that time I’ve made some amazing connections. My business has grown as a result of the contacts I’ve made in the room and I’ve made lifelong friends. I’ve also gone from hating public speaking to only *mildly* disliking it! That’s something I initially didn’t think I’d get over but the practice has made all the difference for my confidence.
My favourite thing about the network, besides the business generated, has to be the buzz on a Wednesday morning and the feeling that you’re not doing things alone – that when you encounter challenges you have others in business to bounce off and talk to.”
Many of our 25+ members have been members in this group for over 3 years! They meet at least once every week and know how to spot an opportunity for each other
When you get to know someone, you want to help them out. Referrals are
key drivers of word of mouth
marketing that we learn to identify for each other
When we help each other out, we get business in return, and only refer quality clients and only to quality suppliers who will deliver quality
