Sales Training and Business Networking with Jo Collins

Summary of Points from Event by Jo Collins

  1. Make a list of clients that you are going to phone daily.
Today, is a fantastic time to pick up the phone to your customers.
Remember, we are ringing to check and see how they are doing and how you can help and support
them, Listen to your customers with empathy, and you’ll end up creating true value for them.
    Pick 5 every day.

  2. Learn together
We are stronger when we work together, combine our efforts, share what’s working and focus on
helping each other. While we are dealing with our new reality, so are our customers. We can learn,
recover and plan together. Embrace technology that allows us to stay connected and learn new ways
    of doing business.
  3. Invest in you.
How often have you thought, if only I had time to learn how to ………..?
That time is now – Focus on how you can up skill.
Have a look at webinars as a learning option.
If you are looking for inspiration, check out TED TALKS, here are some of my favourite ones.
The Puzzle of Motivation – Dan Pink
The Power of Vulnerability – Brene Brown
Want to help someone, shut up and listen – Ernosta Sirolli
  4. Have a daily plan.

Put some structure on your day, that combines looking after yourself and your business. Focus on
achieving what is important right now.

Some things to think about that you can action now.
• Refresh your website
• Improve your presence on LinkedIn, give & request recommendations
• How about a look at your marketing material?
• Consider a virtual meeting with a client?
• Google reviews – Give and request
• Key Account Management process for your business
• Create a blog and remember, start the blog on your website and copy and paste to LinkedIn
• Your data base – time for a cleanse and update
• Client win back plan – revisit lost, or lapsed clients create a separate data sheet for those
clients. It’s easier to win back clients than get a new one.
